Pure white surfaces, black text and strong borders remain legible without relying on subtle color differences.
E-ink study mode
Flashcards for your e-reader.
Learn languages, history and science in a web flashcard app tuned for black-and-white E Ink screens. Open a deck, switch to E-paper, and review at your own pace—without installing another app.
No account required for public or local decks.
Designed for slower screens
What E-paper mode changes
Animations, transitions, shadows and pulsing status effects are removed to reduce distracting full-screen refreshes.
Quiz answers wait for a visible Next button instead of changing automatically while the display catches up.
Links are underlined and answer states use solid, dashed or double borders rather than color alone.

MazoCards schedules cards over time. Local decks stay on the device; optional sign-in adds cloud sync.
Compatibility
Will it work on my Kindle, Kobo or E Ink tablet?
MazoCards is a web app, so compatibility depends on the browser supplied by the device—not only on the display. It needs JavaScript and local storage. Browsers on Kindle, Kobo, BOOX and other E Ink devices vary by model and software version, so use the sample deck above as a quick test before creating a large collection.
Questions
E-reader flashcard FAQ
Do I need to install MazoCards?
