Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MazoCards. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

MazoCards provides tools to create, import, study, export, synchronize, and optionally share flashcard decks. It also provides temporary study links that agents and other clients can create through the public API. Features may change as the service develops.

Temporary links

Temporary deck links expire after approximately six hours and may be opened by anyone who receives the URL. Do not place confidential, personal, or unlawful material in a temporary deck. Sign in and save a deck when you need longer retention or synchronization across devices.

Your account

Core local features do not require an account. Cloud synchronization and community features require Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the security of your Google Account and for activity performed through it.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant MazoCards the limited permission needed to store, process, synchronize, and display that content to provide the features you select. Publishing a community deck allows other users to view and copy it for their own study.

Acceptable use

You must not use MazoCards to:

• Break applicable law or infringe another person's rights.
• Publish harmful, deceptive, abusive, or confidential material.
• Attempt to bypass security controls or disrupt the service.
• Automate abusive traffic or consume unreasonable resources.
• Upload content you do not have permission to use or share.

Availability and learning outcomes

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or any particular educational result. Keep exports of content that is important to you.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or terminated when necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address abuse of the service. You may stop using MazoCards at any time and may request deletion of associated cloud data.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MazoCards is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities resulting from use of the service.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. For service questions, email support@mazocards.com.
